Alicia Keys has admitted that she has an 'obsession' with speed and loves to drive big 'guy car' trucks.

The 29-year-old star has told how the last time she broke the law was to do with her love for cars.

Alicia Keys said to UK's Q magazine: "Indulging my obsession with speed. And I mean cars, right? My grandmother instilled in me that big cars are good.

"'You need plenty of car in front and plenty behind,' she would say. It was a safety thing. But I developed that into a love of 'guy cars' - big trucks you'd expect a guy with tattoos to have.

"I'll take out my Escalade for a couple of hours... fast, fast, fast! Don't be a rabbit on the road when I'm out for a drive."
